§ 28-7. Enforcement.

  • In addition to any other remedy provided by law, the City and its agents shall have the right to:

    (1)

    Enjoin the violation or threatened violation of this chapter by the owner of a tract of land by injunction issued by a court of competent jurisdiction; or

    (2)

    Recover damages from the owner of a tract of land in an amount adequate for the City to undertake any construction or other activity necessary to bring about compliance with this chapter. The reference in this section to "owner of a tract of land" does not include the owner of an individual lot in a subdivided tract of land.
