§ 32-22. Overnight parking prohibited.

  • (a)

    Overnight parking or storage of vehicles on any public street is hereby prohibited.

    (b)

    The term "overnight parking or storage" means the parking or storing of cars, trucks, trailers, tractors, farm or construction equipment, or other vehicles on public streets during the hours between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., except temporarily disabled vehicles which are protected by flares or other approved signal devices. Public streets are defined, for the purpose of this section and sections 32-23 and 32-24, as that portion of the roadway and shoulder from the property line on one side of the street to the property line on the opposite side of the street.
