§ 6-126. Composition.

(a)

The Construction Board of Appeals shall consist of five persons appointed by the City Council. Each member shall serve for five years or until a successor has been appointed. The Board shall consist of one individual from each of the following professions of disciplines:

(1)

A registered design professional with architectural experience or a builder or superintendent of building construction.

(2)

A registered design professional with engineering experience.

(3)

A licensed mechanical contractor.

(4)

A licensed electrical contractor.

(5)

A licensed plumbing contractor.

(b)

Alternatively, the City Council may appoint one person who is an attorney or a licensed general contractor citizen in lieu of any of the qualified persons listed in subsection (a) of this section.
