§ 10-49. Cap on transferable court costs to fund.

Latest version.

No more than 50 percent of the court costs accruing to the General Fund of the City as collected by the Municipal Court shall be set aside in a separate fund reserved for the purpose above. Disbursements from the fund shall be in the form of tuition grants, which shall be applied for by letter by the individual commissioned officer, endorsed by the Chief of Police, and approved by the City Council in open session.
