§ 12-4. Voting method, plurality.

  • At said election, each of the foregoing named officers shall be voted upon separately. In a Mayoral election, the candidate receiving the most number of votes shall be elected to such office. In the even-numbered years the three candidates for Aldermen with the most number of votes shall be elected; in the odd-numbered years, the two candidates for Aldermen with the most number of votes shall be elected.
